What is Rehabilates?

Rehabilates™ is the rehabilitative and fitness program developed by Dr. Hana Liebowitz PT, DPT, that combines principles of manual physical therapy and pilates based exercise training to treat physical impairments and functional limitations, as well as to promote general fitness and well being.  

Rehabilates™ is for those who wish to enhance their fitness levels while overcoming specific injuries or conditions, and for people with a desire to push past current exercise plateaus safely, utilizing pilates principles and with injury prevention in mind. 

Your customized Rehabilates™ program will begin with an in-depth initial evaluation to identify your personal goals, challenges, and needs.  From there, Hana will work with you one-on-one in 60 minute sessions using hands on techniques as well as therapeutic exercise and neuromuscular re-education to ensure proper progress, tailoring each session to maximize results. 

Hana developed the Rehabilates™ program to fill the gap between traditional realms of healthcare and fitness, and to provide a hands-on personalized approach for her clients.

About Hana

Hana received her Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from New York University, and is certified in Stott Pilates for Rehabilitation. Additionally she is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS), Certified Kinesiotape practitioner (CKTP), certified in Graston Technique (GT), and Certified Selective Functional Movement Assessment (SFMA) provider. She practiced for 5 years in Manhattan prior to moving to Philadelphia, and has a total of over 10 years of experience specializing in orthopedics/sports medicine. Her previous clinical experience includes training at Hospital for Special Surgery and at The Rusk Institute of Rehabilitation (NYU), and working with high level athletes and Broadway performers in private practice. 

As a new mom for the second time and a new homeowner in Wynnewood PA, Hana is excited to offer Rehabilates from her home studio (in addition to the center city location), and bring her knowledge and skills to her new community.
